Beef Stew 4/6/12

Went to the Farmers Market today and decided to use most of the goodies in this soup.  First I boiled the spuds on their own for about 10 minutes.  As they were bubbling away I prepped the rest of the veggies (carrots, cabbage, brussle sprouts and snow peas).  I also cut the less than one pound of beef stew meat to more bite sized pieces.  Once the potatos were done, drained them and the cooked the meat (got to love the one pot meals)  Of course seasoning everything during the whole process.  Added a box of beef broth and 4 more cups of water.  Added carrots and brought to second boil.  Then everyone into the pool!!  Simmered everything for about 15 minutes more.

Along with this had some homemade french bread that I had in the freezer (that is another post)
