corned beef and cabbage

I make this in the crockpot.  Start the corned beef and potatoes first thing in the morning. the corned beef never comes with enough spice so I always add more (Penzeys Spices to the rescue!). Also instead of water, I make mine happy in a pool of  Guinness. At the last two hours of cooking is when I put the cabbage in, two hours is enough to steam the greens perfectly.

Dads Meatballs

Growing up this used to be a dinner that me and my Dad would make together. I used to roll out the meatballs when I got home from school and then would stir the rice as he cooked.

then the pineapple juice was mixed with some secrets and tossed with green pepper

finished bowl of yummy
and the for desert I made German Chocolate cake

New Life

This is still going to be my food blog. I started it out as a way to show excess and decadence in life. Since then my life has changed so drastically. Its still going to be food for even as though things have changed, whenever I get a bit of extra money I tend to spend on a bottle of wine or something to make in the kitchen. Now I have found someone who enjoys cooking and drinking the said wine with me. Welcome to our way and I hope you Enjoy the Good Life with us.
